Art Thou Ready is by the tremendously successful sire, More Than Ready, who has sired such top horses as Golden Slipper winner Phelan Ready and last seasons Champion NSW Racehorse, More Joyous, as well as being a dual hemisphere Champion Sire. His dam line is also very noteworthy noteworthy! His dam Artistique won close to $200,000 including a fourth in a Group 2, she is a half-sister to stakes-winners Chiming Lass and Winona.

'Arty' has returned to the stable after what could only be described as an encouraging first preparation as a two year old last time in, being competitive in metropolitan class.

Coming back as a three year old, Art Thou Ready broke his maiden over 1200m at Goulburn in his first start of this preparation, and did it dominantly!  He returned two weeks later on the 16th of November to finish a solid 5th over 1250m at Canterbury among a strong field of horses. Following a couple of weeks of strong work Art Thou Ready was nominated, and accepted, for a Benchmark 65 Handicap over 1400m at Kembla Grange. After a difficult run in transit having been disapointed for a run, he finished the race amazingly for 2nd by under two lengths. His turn of foot when he found a gap was tremendous. 

He is impressing all involved with him with his runs this preparation and we are all very excited for his fourth start back!
