Snitzel Reigns Supreme

A $15,000 purchase for Kembla Grange trainer Michael Tubman, Chance Bye continues to provide her owners with the ride of a lifetime. She has now won in excess of $300,000 after collecting $170,000 for her win on debut in the Inglis Nursery on December 19. This wonderfully speedy filly has now won both career starts and continues to impress all with the Golden Slipper her ultimate goal. However, as prize money won from races restricted to sale graduates does not count towards a Slipper start, she still has to qualify.
Showing superior barrier speed, Chance Bye flew the gates to lead comfortably before being joined on the outside by Celestial Charger. Approaching the turn, jockey Kathy O’Hara let her slide and she quickly put the race beyond doubt. She exploded away to win easing down by 3 ½ lengths.
Chance Bye is a daughter of exciting young stallion and Leading First Season Sire, Snitzel (by Prize money & Winners). In Saturday’s small field of 10 runners, Snitzel had 2 representatives with his other runner, Third Man, finishing a very gallant 4th. From only 11 runners to date, he has had 5 winners resulting in a most impressive winners/runners ratio of over 45%. Snitzel will be represented in the Blue Diamond Preview (C &G) tomorrow by the Clinton McDonald trained Apres.
Champion Thoroughbreds are pleased to be able to offer the following son of Snitzel for Syndication.
