By rolling over your BOBS Bonuses into your next horse with Champion Thoroughbreds you immediately soak up the most significant cost usually incurred by an owner and you fast track your way towards the winners’ circle.

 

This is how simple it is: 

 

1. You wins BOBS Bonuses with a current racehorse

 

2. You have 20 working days to inform Racing NSW that you will ‘Double Up’ your BOBS Bonus rather than take BOBS as a cash payout. By using the ‘Double Up’ you elect to take twice the BOBS Bonus in a voucher. By registering your ‘Double Up’ with Racing NSW you then have two years to utilize these doubled BOBS Bonuses with a racehorse of your choice

 

3. You register your interest with Champion Thoroughbreds as a precursor to securing a share a selected unraced racehorse

 

4. Having answered any questions you may have with our horses, Champion Thoroughbreds will then direct you back to Racing NSW to (a) have your BOBS Bonuses checked and (b) to be forwarded a Redemption Form. A Redemption Form allows you to give Racing NSW permission to exchange your BOBS Bonuses for a stake in the racehorse of your choice

 

5. Once you fill out and return the Redemption Form to Racing NSW they will deduct your ‘Doubled Up’ BOBS Bonus to the sales ring value of the share of your selected racehorse (i.e. a 10% share of a yearling that was purchased through the ring at $100,000 would be $10,000). That means that the most significant cost is immediately removed. Additional fees incurred for sales ring inspections, veterinary costs, insurance, spelling, transportation, race series nominations, registration etc are not covered by BOBS. These are the only immediate fees you incur upon purchase of a racehorse with Champion Thoroughbreds.

 

6. Champion Thoroughbreds will register your financial interest in the racehorse of your choice with Racing NSW, leaving you to begin another exciting journey with an untapped thoroughbred
