We were thrilled to add another quality purchase to our 2024 crop of yearlings with the addition of a King's Legacy filly from the Inglis Easter sale this week. Purchased in conjunction with the Hayes brothers from Lindsay Park Racing, this precocious filly comes from a speed family, out of a well related winning Lonhro mare. Born on August 1st, 2022, this filly's pedigree is littered with early running stakes performers including Forensics, True Blonde, Regrowth, Colour, Derryn, Arabian Summer and Heuristic. 

Her half-brother Volatile (Snitzel) was a $550,000 yearling purchase for the Newgate/China Horse Club syndicate last year. He was excellent at his second career start in the Golden Gift when finishing third behind Shangri La Express and Rue De Royale. He is back in work and expected to feature over the Brisbane winter carnival. 

Artemis Rose produced an Exceed And Excel colt last season and is currently in foal to Extreme Choice so there is plenty of potential for this filly's pedigree in the future. 

We saw King's Legacy's first crop of yearlings at the sales this year and he has produced some outstanding types. The impeccably bred son of Redoute's Choice took out the Inglis Sires/Champagne Group 1 double as a 2YO and his progeny have proved very popular amongst buyers.

This filly has a brilliant, willing attitude and looks a early-running type as per pedigree would suggest. In a competitive Inglis Easter market, she represents excellent value at $200,000.
