Suit Of Armour Notches Back To Back Wins
Promising stayer Suit Of Armour made it two wins on the bounce with a victory over 2000m at Kembla Grange on Saturday. The 4YO son of Camelot was having his fifth career start when taking out the Class 1/Maiden Plate, following his excellent Super Maiden win on New Year's Day at Canterbury over 1900m.

Jumping from barrier 7 in the field of 11 runners, Suit Of Armour found a good spot in a mid-field position where he travelled strongly throughout. Jockey Alysha Collett made her move rounding the home turn and he let down in the home straight to defeat Prince Of Arendell by 0.2L.

"He's going to get 2400m and he'll thrive with some sting out of the track" Alysha commented after the win. "He's still learning as well. He hit the front, had his ears pricked and was having a good look around- a good win all things considered."

Suit Of Armour was purchased for 75,000 pounds from the 2021 Tattersalls October Yearling sale at Newmarket in the UK through Champion's European agent Cathy Grassick from Brian Grassick Bloodstock.

Congratulations to his large group of owners-  2022 1in4 Club syndicate, Mr F W Cook, Mrs C M Cook, Vale Brothers Racing, Mr D G Lambert, Mrs S R King, Mr N A Davidson, Mr D C Harrop, Mr G Seto, Mr P J Dunn, Mperezive Racing, S P D J Racing, Mr D Maratta, Mr A White, Mr G C Green, Dr M Healy, Mr M R Washbourne, Mrs S J Codner, Mr K G Shepherd and Mr M J Stirling.
