Parlay Vous Gives John O'Shea First Winner From Randwick Stable


Consistent galloper PARLAY VOUS returned to the winners circle on Saturday at Hawkebsury giving John O'Shea his first victory since opening the Randwick stable last month. The well fancied Jimmy Choux 4 year old was having his 8th career start and just his second for O'shea. He now boats a record of 2 wins and 3 placings for over $50,000 in prizemoney.

Parlay Vous was dropping back in distance and grade from a BM70 over 1250m at Canterbury last month which was won by subsequent winner of the Listed Mona Lisa Stakes at Wyong on Friday. With the addition of the blinkers, he jumped well from the gates and sat towards the tail of the field. Jockey Jeff Penza made his move coming around the home turn and although a little wayward down the straight, He knuckled down to the task and got the job done, defeating I Am Capitan bu 0.12L.
