Group 1 Weekend For So You Think

It was a big 24 hours for Coolmore sire SO YOU THINK who produced his third Group 1 winner and a further two stakes winners. On Friday Night at Moonee Valley the Darren Weir trained THINK BLEUE took out the Group 3 Alexandria Stakes over 1600m. The 3 year old filly notched up her third career win from just her sixth career start. Darren Weir indicated she will likely head on the South Australian Oaks path after Friday night's win.

The Golden Slipper meeting on Saturday proved to be a great day for the So You Think progeny after THE PINNACLE took out the Group 3 Epona Stakes over 1900m. The race had been pinpointed by the Snowden Team for quite some time and the plan came to fruition with Christian Reith giving the mare a confident ride.

Heavily backed favourite D'ARGNENTO gave Chris Waller back to back Group 1's on Saturday when he saluted in the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas over 2000m. The striking grey put all the doubters to rest about staying out the trip when dominating with a 1.3L win, defeating stablemate Tangled and the Kris Lees trained Fruore. D'Argento is the ninth stakes winner and third Group 1 winner for So You Think, joining La Bella Diosa and Inference.

John O'Shea and Champion Thoroughbreds recently purchased an outstanding So You Think filly from the Aquis Farm Draft at the Inglis Classic Sale for $100,000. She's out of the 4 time winning mare Cosabella (by Stravinsky) from the family of stakes performers including ZONZA, OUR SHAKIRA and EUTECTIC. "She had the best walk on the complex, reminiscent of what we saw when we purchased Butterboom and Ammirata" commented Director Jason Abrahams after the sale.

To request the PDS in this filly, contact Neill Ross on 0430168960 or email Shares start at just $3,265 for a 2.5% share (expenses included until April 30th, 2018).
