Charm Spirit Filly Impresses In Randwick Jumpout

The unnamed 2YO Charm Spirit x Roadtoplatinum filly purchased at this year's Magic Millions June Yearling Sale has impressed the team, including trainer John O'Shea with an eye-catching jumpout win at Randwick on Friday. The filly, having just her second prep in the stable showed blistering speed out of the gates and held off her five stablemates to win well.

"She's such a lovely filly with a real speedy pedigree, I can't wait to crack on with her next preparation" commented John post-trial.

She certainly lacks no speed in her pedigree, being out of a 1200m winning Lonhro mare who is the half-sister to multiple stakes winning sprinter Kaepernick. Her pedigree is filled with multiple sprinting black-type performers including Spright, Royal Harmony, Mine Two and Ideal Planet.

First season sire Charm Spirit continues to make his presence felt in Europe with 23 individual winners, placing him just two behind division leader No Nay Never (Scat Daddy) by individual winners.

Charm Spirit who shuttles to Windsor Park Stud in NZ is the highest earning son of Invincible Spirit (sire of I Am Invincible). He had 9 career starts for three Group 1 wins, two Group 3 wins, earning over €1.4 million in prize money. The 2014 World Thoroughbred Rankings rated him equal to Chautauqua, (Its A) Dundeel, Olympic Glory and ahead of Dissident, Toronado, Adelaide, Sacred Falls etc.

There are only a few shares available in this filly at a very affordable entry price- please contact neill@championthoroughbreds.com.au for more information.
