His well performed dam is from the family of Major, Happen and a horse John had a very high opinion of, One in a Million.

His two damsires are the highly successful sires Grand Lodge and Marauding, and he hails from the famed Newhaven Park Stud, who recently bought back the mare from auction, such was their excitement with her efforts in producing her first foal, this colt.

Lightinthenite was gelded on 18/6, he had a spell, and is currently in pretraining. When he comes back into the stable we are expecting him to have a full racing preparation. We are very excited by the way he handled himself last time in work and believe he will be a lot of fun for his connections.
