Here is a son of New Approach, a European Champion at two and three, and sire of three classic winners from his first two years at stud.

An undefeated multiple group one winner at two, New Approach added the Epsom Derby (gr. I), Champion Stakes (gr. I) and Irish Champion Stakes at three. From his first two years at stud, he has sired ten group or graded stakes winners, including Champion Two-Year-Old and 2,000 Guineas (gr. I) hero, Dawn Approach; Talent, who took the Epsom Oaks (gr. I); Sultanina, successful in the Nassau Stakes (gr. I); the SACJ Australian Oaks (gr. I) victress May’s Dream; and other Australian graded scorers Gamblin’ Guru and Montsegur.

This colt is out of the Danehill mare, Homecoming Queen, the dam of four winners, including Elusive King, a four-time winner who was beaten just a neck in the MRC Autumn Classic (gr. II); American Dream, a twice winning sprinter, and black-type placed performer; and to the dam of currently active graded stakes performer Prince Harada.

Homecoming Queen is half-sister to Pure Theatre, a classic runner who took the VATC Guineas Prelude (gr. II), and who was third to Lonhro and Ustinov in the Caulfield Guineas (gr. I), and third to Ustinov and Viking Ruler in the AAMI Vase (gr. II). Homecoming Queen is out of A Goodlookin Broad, who captured the Illinois Oaks, and took second in the Arlington Heights Oaks (gr. II), while racing in the U.S., and who is half-sister to stakes winning and multiple graded stakes placed sprinter Ahead by a Century. A Goodlookin Broad’s dam, Aromalight, is out of a half-sister to the major stakes winner Pas de Nom, famed as the dam of Danzig, a breed-shaping sire who is also in the pedigree of Homecoming Queen through his son, Danehill.

This colt is a product of the remarkably successful cross of Galileo and his sons with mares by Danehill. Responsible for 36 stakes winners to date. Twenty-five of these are group or graded winners, including the mighty Frankel, and classic winners Cima de Triomphe, Roderic O’Connor, Golden Lilac, Intello and Magician, as well as undefeated Champion Two-Year-Old Teofilo.
